Okays. So my school is holding a Sadie Hawkins dance in around February. And I hadn't a clue as to where it came from and it was interesting looking up the info on Wiki(which I usually despise but for quick ref. its easy)
And for me personally I feel like it's the one time "normally" where girls in high school or whatever get to feel the sting of rejection or the awkwardness of a first time date, etc. Am I being too pessimistic? Anyways tell me if you have any fun Sadie Hawkins Dance stories, I'd love to hear them!!

Okay so me and my friend were messing around on AIM. We were talking about stories and how we write them, our style, how we never finish them, etc. And so we started talking about oneshots and how we never really wrote them. So I decided to. It's super short and has an interesting end. I felt like ending it on a sad note while keeping it interesting. Please let me know what you think of it!!

She sobbed loudly as she leaned against the light pole. Lisa had been looking for Chico. She had at least been searching for days. A soft light filled her face when she remembered how she’d found him. He was a plump dog, sitting on her doorstep with a rich green bow tied to her doorstep. She hadn’t a clue as to where he came from but the dog was tied to her door so she figured it was someone she knew. He had the cutest smile, Chico did. The way only a dog can smile. Broad and always happy with a glittering joy in their eyes. She sighed at the memory. This had been months ago and they had spent those months together, happily. He kept her company in the darkness of the storm and she gave him the loving home he had always deserved.
Now he was gone.
He had disappeared without a trace. All left of him had been a cryptic note. Great. She thought to herself. Out of all the nut cases in the world and a dog-napper had to come after me right? Of course. Of all the incredibly annoying and made up things, she had to get the stupidest one. Someone had stolen her dog from underneath her nose. And she knew exactly why to. She was the richest person in the entire freaking state. No one knew who was close to her, except for the dog she walked constantly and that always stayed by her side when every possible lover walked out on her. Because she was richer than they were. Because she had more power. More beauty. More confidence. It didn’t matter why they walked out on her. They always did. And each time Chico was the one to fill the void. She had once thought she had figured out who had given her the dog. She had an employee who happened to glance especially long when she walked by. Who actually cared about her when she had gotten a tumor removed. The only person who had seemed to give a crap. And yet every time she got closer to him, he would walk away and leave her heartbroken. But not far enough so that she could forget about him. And it happened constantly on end. Over and over. And she kept falling.
He’d never admit to giving her the dog, but she knew it deep down. And the thought made her smile until she thought about how Chico was gone. She didn’t realize she had been trudging through the streets. Her eyes bloodshot and weary. The usually brilliantly blue glow had disappeared from her now dull, grey eyes. Black lines streaked down her pale face, leaving forever lines that everyone noticed. She could hear their voices in her head constantly. “Poor girl.” “Wonder why that is.” “All alone.” No one figured that she was broken over a dog. A dog and so much more.
She stopped in her tracks, a mass huddled in the street. It didn’t matter what it was because she saw it’s body shaking violently, blood streaming into the sewer drainage areas of the street. The animal had dark, crimson blood. She rushed over and saw the matted fur and a new stream of tears flooded her cheeks.
“Oh, dear.” she sobbed out in chokes of noise. People who walked along the slightly busy street ignored the beautiful crying woman in the street and the near dead animal besides her. They had their lives to get back to.
The animal was so beaten and broken she couldn’t tell what it was. Couldn’t tell gender. Couldn’t tell how many legs. Couldn’t tell what animal it was. And it killed her. She lifted the creature into her arms, blood spilling onto her pale blouse. One of dozens that she’d gotten into the habit of wearing to try and set of the pale pallor of her skin. She didn’t care about the scent wafting from the limp doll in her arms, the smell and sticky liquid sticking to her arms. As she walked over to the sidewalk, she sat with the small creature resting in her arms. Lisa could feel its feeble breaths fluttering the sleeve of her shirt as she dialed.
“Hey.”
“Hey, Lise. What’s wrong? Are you okay?”
“Could you come get me? I need you to drop me off at the animal clinic.”
“Uh, sure Lise. Anything. Where are you?”
“Corner of Oakley West and Fairview Boulevard.”
“I’ll be there in 3 minutes tops.”
“Thanks.” she whispered into the phone. Lisa gave a soft sigh at the vulnerable animal lying in her arms. She hugged it and it whimpered softly in an odd mixture of pain and affection. She noticed a red band around its neck realizing that it was too red to be blood. Examining it closer she saw the rungs of fabric as she plucked of bits of fur. A dog. She came to her final conclusion and that’s when the cool metal dog tag hit her like a 14-wheeler truck.

I'm so sorry my opinion came so late this week, but I've been flooded with homework! So anyways onto the fun.

Okay so this weeks 90210 was amazing. Naomi is back to her complete-b***hiness, definitely grating on Annie's nerves. Loves that! But what was weird to me is, during the lunch scene when Silver and Annie were talking about Naomi cause she didn't have a place to sit, and Adrianna just sat there? They're supposed to be bffs and she does nothing. I mean she seemed a little bothered but she doesn't get up or defend her best friend. Weird? And then I've seen some stills from next episode which will be airing in Jan. :[ and they seem back to being buddy buddy. So maybe they just made Adrianna do that so Naomi could go hang out with the well-dressed juniors? Well I guess it is a friendship of the beautiful. Though the red-head really isn't that pretty and come to think of it, Annalynne is really prettier than all three of them, combined. No offense or anything. But anyways a little jealousy coming from Silver, because a random cheerleader has got her eyes set on Dixon? Well kissing him in front of her I'm sure did the trick as well as blogging on it, which you can read HERE. Show her who's boss honey!
Annie and Ethan need to stop being cute, cause they just aren't. Frnakly I don't really like either of them and watch for the rest of the cast. Talk about strange casting for main roles eh? Well anyways that's all from me, for now!

Love Story- My favorite song by Taylor Swift! It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Makes you feel loved if you've got a special someone or gives you hope for love in the future. Adorable lyrics. Love it!!
Womanizer- Same as most Britney songs. Repetitive, up-beat, fun sounding, synthetic pop. I like it but I expect more from her. And of course it sells like gold.
Heartless- Love Kanye, love the song. One of the few rappers that don't rap about drugs and sex.
Hot N Cold- Katy Perry is just fantastic! She's adorable, fun, silly, and spunky too! Def. a must have if you already don't.
Right Now(Na Na Na)- Sounds like most of Akon's songs. What else is there to say?
Love Lockdown- Pretty much I feel the same about this as I do with Heartless only I like Heartless more.

Annie and Ethan. I'm sorry but they just bore me to tears! They're the most predictable couple on 90210 and frankly they're no fun to watch, at least for me. They have this secret lover thing that turns into a full-out boyfriend/girlfriend relationship which everyone besides the characters themselves predicted within seconds.
And on a further note, as you all know, I absolutely adore the show, 90210. It fascinates me in a way that shows from the CW only can, by seducing the teenage mind. And the conflicts in the show keep me interested and excited week to week. But I've still got a few complaints.
First off the show has great conflicts...that only last the episode? Every conflict barely exists so that it seems as if they are naught even a speed-bump in the lives of the West Bev. students. They get you all excited to find that!!!...they forgive each other and everything goes back to happy peppy?
It seems as if there are maybe 1-2 multi-episode conflicts. And not even within the MAIN main characters. -sigh-
But it's definitely improving. I just can't wait for it to get better and better. ^^

Movie Boxoffice

Okay so HSM 3 definitely made a strong impact. The best opening for a musical...ever! And that's great, but already it's fallen from it's top spot. It now rests at a still comfy #3, while Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa has taken the top spot, with Role Models closing in the second. Still it made a very decent performance world-wide.
What I find is funny is that the movies with A-list celebrities are actually below a cartoon and a HSM. I mean I guess the cartoon has A-list star voices, but...Maybe I'm just biased. I'll give a good review of HSM 3 when I get the urge to watch it. But until then, take the voice of the people and the critics.
On IMDB, it got 3.3/10 stars from 9, 288 votes. And on Yahoo! Movies a C+ from the critics, and a B+ from the people. Question for y'all. Have you ever seen a movie where the people actually voted lower than the critics? Let me know! :]
On IMDB for Role Models-7.9/10 from 1,224 votes. On Yahoo!-B- from the critics and A- from the people.

Though I am quite far from a fan of the Twilight series...in fact I've never read any of them at all, save for the first three pages of the first. And I can say I'm very clearly not interested in it at all. But I know so many people are and I'm curious as to how the movie will draw movie-goers in. I know for personal experience that it's not just girls who enjoy it, sure the girls OBSESS but I know some guys who enjoy the books too. So who knows? Many people think it'll be a hit. The studio producing the film, Summit Entertainment, thinks they have a hit on their hands. Apparently they've already started scripting New Moon?

I just watched it today. It looked good enough and so I decided to give it a chance. Lack of horror, and good acting. Sure Chace Crawford is gorgeous, but otherwise relatively dull. Horrid ending. Truthfull the only parts that were good were Jessica Lowndes as Laurel Miller, and Annalynne McCord as Suzie Woods. But that may be biased. Gotta give my girls cred though. If you just want to watch a nothing important lightly spooky movie then this is the one for you. Not so great if you're super religious.

OMG I just finished watching, well not JUST, but anyways! I finished watching the most recent episode of my favorite obsession 90210! It was great! "Homecoming" so titled was all about boy drama, friend drama, dirty little b**** stealing your husband drama. Fantastic! The only thing I was ticked about...Adrianna was still alive?! WTH? But after the whole thing with Navid, sooo adorable, I was all good cause well how cute is that?! Plus hello, no more third wheel baby! Accomplished. Okay so my AIM always opens the AIM Dashboard and on the side they have celebrity pictures. And today it was our own Kimmy K! And she was wearing this fantastic red, off the shoulder dress. And they were like "last we checked, off the shoulder dresses were WAY out." Um, excuse me, but they are absolutely GORGEOUS! And in the poll, she was definitely rated HOT as always. ;]

I totally just got a smack to the back. Me and my best friend were supposed to go to camp together in Hawaii! And it was gonna be so cool. Then she got into this government program, where she gets to go to Europe. And she kinda forgot all about us going to camp together. Because this other thing is well in Europe, and I don't think she's ever been while she has been to Hawaii before many times. So it like is a random date in the middle of the summer, just killing my excitement for us going to do something fun and living together for 3 weeks, cause we don't go to the same school. So I'm like really bummed out cause she wasn't even like, sorry I can't go, cause this is a really good chance for me, or something like that. So yeah, I don't know. Like I still wanna go to the camp, but it won't be as fun. Very sad now...I actually cried cause she's supposed to be my BFFL and my freakin sister and she didn't even remember.

Hair Styling

Okay so I've got super straight, black hair. And I hate it. So I love to style it in different ways and I'm here now to just give suggestions on hair styling.
I love absolutely love any type of hair in super high, perfectly sculpted ponytails. They look chic and sexy, and it is so easy to do.
For gals with curly hair: If you wanna straighten it, try using a heat safe styling product and then heat up the straightening iron and flatten it out. Then use a hair oil that keeps it from being greasy but puts in shine.
Curling: You'll need a good curling iron, that means one that's pricey or some nice, big curlers. Either use heat safe product, or you'll need some product like gel or hairspray to hold in your curls. Personally I find curlers keep your hair perfect, with or without a holding product.

HSM 3 was released on Friday October 24th, Adrienne's B-day! And although I absolutely DETEST HSM, I am still posting this because many people enjoy it and so I would just give it some notice. Um yeah so basically I hated the first two cause well, what is there to like? Endless, pointless plots, not-so-great acting. However HSM 2 was definitely an improvement from the first as to better music and plot. The only song slightly enjoyable would be Fabulous. However I'm waiting for many friends opinions on what the movie is actually like. So I'll get back to you on that, I might even entertain myself by running through the theatre. :] But for now why don't I just post up some music?

Nike just really f***ed up, to state it simply. A young, 24 year old(same as Adri ^^) Miss. Arien O'Connell, ran her fastest marathon in her life. She also ran the fastest time in the marathon out of over 20k women. And yet...she didn't win. Nike claimed that since she was not in the "elite" group she was not considered in the same race. They're trying to make this her fault. She ran almost 11 minutes faster than the 1st place winner. How ridiculous can it get really? Tell me what you think.....

When I Grow Up: 7/10 Amazing dancing, really it was and that's why it was nominated and won a VMA for best dancing. And they definitely worked hard for it. The dancing, it's some hard crap there. I would know cause I learned it. But the pink outfit, Nicole, sweetie. Not the best. Especially the shoulder pads, they're trying to be sexy dancers, not sexy... football players. However loving the outfits in the dance break on wet pavement? Great work. Just not exceptional, but still good enough to entertain.
Whatcha Think About That: 8.5/10 Cute, chic, and super sleek and sexy. Ballet barre in place, showing off their flexibility and smooth dancing. Fun and sophisticated, catchy beat. Throw in some Missy Elliot. Adorable and I liked it. Still not their most creative and definitely they could do better.
I Hate This Part: 10/10 Now here's the hook, line, and sinker. Small dance parts that look amazing. Gorgeous natural themes. Natural beauty from each of the Dolls. Native American scenery. Wild animals. Gorgeous lyrics and sensous desert environment. Perfect PERFECT!!

So they made a dress out of used iPod Nano Skins. It's a fuscia color with dark blue flowers. Environmentally friendly? Check. Creative? Check. New? Check. Liked? Uhm...
I personally think it's an adorable dress with an interesting idea. But the dress would be pricey anyways due to the fact that there are so many used skins on it. However some people think it's hideous. What do you think?

So the W Magazine November Edition has a beautiful, touching photo of Ms. Jolie breast-feeding one of her twins. Sweet right? Apparently to some of our pleasant U.S. civilian, not so much.
I suppose there are reasons to question their motives. What's the point about revealing such intimate photos? Money for charity? Promotion for film? Crushing critical views on breast feeding? Giving choice pictures to the press? Whatever their reasoning is, it's their own. Must they share with everyone else just because they happen to be A-list celebrities?
Knowing what the Internet is like myself, people always seem to be transfixed on celeb life. And yet they have this deep[, underlying want, need even, to crush and hate on individuals who they have never and probably will never meet.
The controversy has stirred up debate.
I side with Brangelina, no matter what their impetus, the pictures are charming and family oriented. They support something that is natural and yet people are appalled by it. I stand by my opinion tell me what yours is?

Okay so I just finished watching episode 7 of my current obsession 90210. Such a good show if you haven't seen it yet check it on cwtv.com!! The ending is so dramatic like it's crazy. And I loved it! So go and watch now. A really fantastic episode overall.

I love them. I just found out about them, well not just recently, but anyways, so they've got a song with Adri, called "No Me Digas Que No". It's a fantastic song and I love it! If you speak Spanish, could you please translate for me? And then the other songs that I like from their album Haciendo Historia: Es Amor, Disculpame, Mientes, and Shorty, Shorty (English version).
